Ernakulam Rural Police build house for cancer victim's family

The house was built for the family of the late cancer patient Satheesan, who was staying in a rented house in Kurichilakode area within the limits of Kodanad station. Ernakulam Rural District Police Chief K. Karthik IPS handed over the keys to the IPS house. Representatives of the people and civic dignitaries took part in the construction process. SHO Saji Marcos, ASP Anuj Paliwal, police officials and people's representatives were present at the handing over ceremony.

Satheesan died of an illness last October. The family consists of a mother, wife and 2 daughters. Kodanad SHO Saji Marcos, who noticed that he could not go to work due to illness, came forward to build a house for them. District police chief K Karthik IPS gave support. The 700 sq ft house consists of 2 bedrooms, kitchen, hall and seating area.
