The Ernakulam Rural District Police conducted a monsoon security meet for officials of financial institutions, petrol pump owners and employees.
The meeting was inaugurated by District Police Chief K Karthik IPS on 22 June 2022 at the District Police Headquarters.
It was suggested that quality CCTV cameras should be installed at petrol pumps and at least one camera should be used to detect vehicle number plates. These should be placed in such a way that they are precisely focused. The camera should be mounted in such a way that it also gets a view of the road. It was also suggested at the meeting that high quality CCTV cameras should be installed in ATMs.
