The Ernakulam District Legal Aid Authority and the Ernakulam Rural District Police visited the Terakudi Tribal Colony in Pooyamkutty in coordination. A class was conducted to educate the residents about the rights and responsibilities of citizens, as well as the harmful effects of tobacco consumption. District Legal Aid Authority Secretary and Honorable Sub Judge Ranjit Krishnan conducted the class. Addl. SP Ernakulam Rural T. Biji George, Kochi University NSS Unit 5 Program Officer Dr. Aparna Laxmanan, Sub-Inspector S N Sheela of Women cell, Panchayath member Joshi and Oor Mooppan Laxmanan spoke. The program was guided by the Secretary of the Kothamangalam Taluk Legal Service Committee Mrs. Sini Anilkumar. Para legal Volunteer Valsa and NSS Unit 5 Volunteer Secretary Gayatri from CUSAT provided support during the program.There was also a screening of the movie "Inja" at the event.
