An awareness camp was organized for guest workers under the auspices of the Muvattupuzha Police Station.
The camp was organized in collaboration with the Labor Department, Legal Services Committee, and the NSS Section of Vazhithala Shantigiri College. More than a thousand guest workers participated in the camp.
District Police Chief Vivek Kumar IPS inaugurated the event. DYSP M. Muhammad Riaz presided over it. Assistant Professor Jaycee George, Labor Officer P.K. Nasser, Canara Bank Senior Manager Bibin Varghese, and others conducted sessions for the guest workers. Inspector P.M. Baiju, Chairperson K.K. Shaju, Standing Chairperson of the Development Affairs Committee P.P. Jolly, MS Ajith, Saith Kunj Puthussery, Alvin Shah, Mahin Salim, and others delivered speeches.
