The District Crime Branch is functioning for investigation of Major Crime cases reported in Ernakulam Rural District under a Deputy Police Superintendent. The office of District Crime Branch is functioning in the building No AMC/XV/219 situating adjacent to the Aluva Police Station. In this building the office is function on the basis of order No G2/3632/04/ER dated 29.01.2004 as Crime Detachment Unit and this Unit is changed as District Crime Branch as on Order No, GO (Ms)No124/2014/Home dated 17.06.2014 .
