1. The accused was arrested in a murder case after one and a half years.

The husband, Sajeev (48) from Edavanakkad, Wachakal West, was found guilty of murdering his wife and burying her in the backyard a year and a half ago. The Njarakkal Police arrested him after monitoring his activities for a year.

2. Second charge sheet filed in Ilantur human sacrifice case.

Second charge sheet has been filed in the Ilantur human sacrifice case, focusing on the murder of Rosalie, a resident of Kaladi Matur. The primary accused in the case is Muhammad Shafi (52), who faces charges in several cases, including rape, attempted murder, and theft. The victims were taken to the residence of Bhagwal Singh (67) and his wife Laila (58) in Ilantur, Pathanamthitta. The 3000-page charge sheet was submitted 89 days after the arrest of the accused. The case was investigated by a special team led by Ernakulam Rural District Police Chief Vivek Kumar IPS.

3. 20 kilograms of ganja were seized.

Pothanikkad Police seized 20 kilograms of ganja, and two individuals have been arrested. Anoop (30) and Bibin Thomas (36) are the accused. Ganja was found in Anup's rented house.

4. Boat accident is revealed to be a murder.

It was initially reported that the fisherman died by falling into the lake from the boat. However, after an investigation by the Munambam police, it was discovered to be a murder. The police arrested Ram Prasad Das (54) and Panu Das (41), who are from West Bengal.

5. Hawala of two crores seized.

Ernakulam Rural District Special Squad and Perumbavoor Police arrested two individuals, Amal Mohan (29) and Akhil K. Sajeev, with hawala money amounting to two crores. The arrest followed a tip-off received by District Police Chief Vivek Kumar.

6. Medical camp and awareness class for guest workers.

Ernakulam Rural District Police organized a medical camp and awareness class for guest workers at Muppathadam. Minister P. Rajeev inaugurated the camp and released the guest worker helpline number. During the event, students who achieved A plus in all subjects in the SSLC examination received mementos, and bags were distributed to all students.

7.The Court Found The Accused Guilty Of The Murder Of A Five-Year-Old Girl In Aluva.

The accused in the abduction and rape of a five-year-old migrant girl in Aluva was found guilty by a court on Saturday. This marked a significant achievement for the Ernakulam Rural police, who completed the investigation remarkably quickly. The shocking incident that grabbed national attention occurred on July 28. Asfaq Alam, originally from Bihar, had taken the girl to the market and subjected her to severe abuse, resulting in her tragic death. The accused was apprehended that very night after an intensive investigation. A 645-page charge sheet was submitted within 33 days, led by District Police Chief Vivek Kumar. They examined 43 witnesses and included more than 95 documents and 10 pieces of physical evidence along with crucial documents.

8. Muvattupuzha double murder case accused arrested

The suspect in the Muvattupuzha double murder case was arrested in Odisha. The accused, Gopal Malik, hails from Gudhila Swadesha in Odisha. After committing the murder, he traveled to Odisha by train early in the morning. The arrest was made during an investigation conducted by a special police team, under the supervision of SP Vivek Kumar IPS and comprising DySP Muhammad Riaz and Inspector PM Baiju

9.Operation Clean- Drugs Worth Crores Seized In Paravur.

North Paravoor Police arrested three individuals with drugs worth crores. Nithin Viswam (25), Nithin K. Venu (28), and Amithkumar (29) were apprehended under the leadership of Dr. Vaibhav Saxena IPS, District Police Chief, Ernakulam Rural. A total of 1.81 kilograms of MDMA were recovered from them. The drugs were seized from the house rented by the accused in Paravoor Thattapilly and from the vehicle parked in the compound.
