The cyber age is the symbol of humanity in the present times. The cyber world is inextricably linked with everyday life for mankind. Therefore, the Cyber ​​Security Club is a project being implemented in schools in the Ernakulam Rural District with the objective of developing a new generation of cyber security awareness.

   The cyber world is full of knowledge, entertainment as well as many dangers. Every day, people are exposed to new methods of cyber crime. Hence the society should be capable of defending and recognizing them. The Cyber ​​Security Club aims to create awareness among the children about cyber security from the school level onwards.

   Many cybercrime pits are set up to target children. In this way, the knowledge of overcoming the pitfalls and the safety standards to be adopted are passed on to the children. It also warns against addictive games, dating apps and the excessive use of social media.

Under District Police Chief K. Karthik's leadership, cyber security clubs are operating in various schools in the district. In the initial stage, it has started functioning in about ten schools. The Club comprises of the head teacher of the school, the IT teacher, and the local police station SHO in charge, as well as the entire student body and members.

Objectives:

   Raise awareness among children about cyber security and cyber laws.
   Provide knowledge on how to respond to cyber bullying / fraud.
   Teach children special knowledge about cheating hidden in addictive games like dating and apps.
   Raise awareness on child pornography.
